Manipulating and controlling neutral atom based quantum systems has seen considerable advances in recent years but at the same time great challenges have to be faced. This workshop aims on bringing together groups from theory and experimental physics working on quantum control of neutral atoms. The workshop will give the chance to discuss latest achievements, current challenges and possible future routes for quantum simulation, information processing and tight coherent control of systems with neutral atoms.

The workshop will take place at the CJD Bonn (German website http://www.cjd-bonn.de) in Bonn. Deadline for application is May 31st 2009.
